Writing marketing content with AI honestly

How small businesses can use AI to write posts, captions and product descriptions without false claims, fake reviews or copied images.

A quick writer for busy owners

Social media posts, captions and product descriptions take time to write, especially in two languages. An AI chatbot can draft them in seconds, in English, Urdu or Roman Urdu. It can also change the tone for different platforms.

But marketing content speaks for your business. If it is false or copied, it can damage customer trust, get your page reported or create legal problems. You stay responsible for everything you publish.

Good uses

  • Product descriptions from facts you provide, such as size, material, colour and price
  • Social media captions for a new arrival, a sale or a festival such as Eid
  • Several versions of the same post, so you can choose the best one
  • Translation of a post between English and Urdu, checked by you
  • Ideas for a month of posts, which you then plan and write yourself

Our product description prompt and social media post prompt are ready to use.

How to get a good draft

  1. Give real facts. List exactly what the product is and what it does. The AI only knows what you tell it.
  2. Say who the customer is. For example: "young professionals in Karachi" or "mothers buying school uniforms".
  3. Set the tone and length. Friendly, formal, short or detailed.
  4. Tell it what not to do. For example: "Do not make health claims. Do not mention competitors."
  5. Edit the result. Make it sound like your business, not like every other page.

No false claims

AI often adds exciting words that are not true. Watch for:

  • "Best in Pakistan", "number one" or "guaranteed results" when you cannot prove them
  • Health or medical claims, such as "cures" or "doctor approved", for food, herbal or beauty products
  • Invented features, such as a warranty you do not offer or a material the product is not made of
  • Fake urgency, such as "only 2 left" when that is not true
  • Prices or discounts you have not set

Read every line and ask: "Is this exactly true?" If not, delete it.

Never fake reviews

Do not ask AI to write customer reviews, testimonials or ratings. Fake reviews mislead customers and break the rules of most platforms. Your page or listing could be removed.

Instead, ask real customers for honest feedback. You can use AI to draft a polite message asking them to leave a review.

  • Do not copy another business's product descriptions or photos, even if AI rewrites them.
  • Do not use photos from the internet without permission. Take your own or use images you have the right to use.
  • Be careful with AI images. If you create an image with AI, make sure it shows your real product honestly. Do not use AI images that make the product look better than it is.
  • Do not copy brand names, logos or characters that belong to others. See copyright infringement.

Protect customer data

Do not paste customer names, phone numbers or order details into a chatbot to write marketing messages. See the guide on using AI safely.

A final check before you post

  • Is every claim true?
  • Are the price and details correct?
  • Is the Urdu natural and correctly spelt?
  • Do you own or have permission to use every image?
  • Does it sound like your business?
