Before you paste anything: replace names, CNIC numbers and other personal details with placeholders and never use classified material. Use only AI tools your department allows.
When to use it
Your department needs to tell the public about a change on its official social media accounts. You want a short, clear post in both English and simple Urdu that people can read in a few seconds.
The prompt
Write a short public service announcement for the official social media account of a government department in Pakistan.
What changes: [the change, in one sentence]
From when: [date]
Who it affects: [which people or areas]
What people need to do: [any action. Write "nothing" if none]
Where to get official information: [official website, helpline or office, exactly as approved]
Write two versions of the same post:
1. English, under [50] words
2. Simple Urdu that an ordinary reader understands, under [50] words
Each version must say what changes, who it affects and where to get official information. Use short sentences and no official jargon. Do not use slogans, praise or emojis. Do not add any date, number, web address or contact detail that is not listed above. If something needed is missing, write [CHECK].
How to fill it in
- Copy the web address or contact detail exactly from an approved source. A wrong number on social media spreads fast.
- Keep "what changes" to one sentence. If you cannot, the post may need to link to a longer notice.
- Ask for a shorter version if the platform has a tight character limit.
Before you use the result
- Ask a native Urdu speaker to read the Urdu version before posting.
- Check that both versions say the same thing, with the same dates and contacts.
- Follow your department's approval process for social media posts.
