When to use it
You read a chapter or sat through a class and a topic still does not make sense. You want a simple explanation in your own language, then a quick way to check you have understood it.
The prompt
Explain this topic to me simply: [topic]
My subject and class: [for example, Physics, Class 10]
What I already know or what confuses me: [one or two sentences]
Please:
1. Explain the topic in [English / simple Urdu] in short sentences, as if to a friend.
2. Give one everyday example from life in Pakistan that shows the idea.
3. Define any difficult word you use.
4. Finish with three short questions I can answer to test my understanding. Put the answers at the very end, under the heading "Answers".
Do not invent facts, formulas, dates or figures. If you are not sure about something, write [CHECK] next to it so I can look it up in my textbook.
How to fill it in
- Name the topic the way your textbook names it, for example "photosynthesis" or "simple interest".
- Say what confuses you. The explanation will be more useful.
- Try to answer the three questions before you read the answers.
Before you use the result
- Check facts, formulas and definitions in your textbook or with your teacher. Chatbots can give wrong answers that sound confident.
- Your exam follows your syllabus and textbook, not the chatbot. Learn the textbook wording where it matters.
- Look up anything marked [CHECK] before you rely on it.
