Before you paste anything: replace names, CNIC numbers and other personal details with placeholders and never use classified material. Use only AI tools your department allows.

When to use it

You have a procedure, notice or circular that people keep asking about. Plain questions and answers can save calls and visits, as long as every answer comes from the official text.

The prompt

Turn the text below into a list of frequently asked questions with plain answers, for [citizens / staff] dealing with a government office in Pakistan.

Source text:
[Paste the procedure, notice or circular]

Number of questions: about [10]

Write in [English / simple Urdu]:
1. Questions in the words an ordinary person would use, for example "What documents do I need?"
2. Short, plain answers using only the source text. Keep figures, fees, dates and document names exactly as written
3. After each answer, the part of the source it comes from (section, paragraph or heading)
4. A separate final list headed "Not answered by the source": questions people are likely to ask that the source text does not answer

Do not add information from outside the source text, even if it seems helpful. Do not invent fees, timelines, office addresses or contact details. If the source is unclear on a point, write [UNCLEAR] in the answer.

How to fill it in

  • Paste the current official version of the text. FAQs based on an old notice spread old rules.
  • If you know the questions people actually ask, list them and ask the AI to answer those first.
  • Choose simple Urdu if most readers will be members of the public.

Before you use the result

  • Check each answer against the part of the source it cites. Pay special attention to fees, dates and document lists.
  • Send the "Not answered by the source" list to the office that owns the procedure. Do not fill those gaps yourself.
  • Have any Urdu text reviewed by a native speaker before it goes on a notice board or website.
